รายละเอียดการสอบ TOEIC

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) เป็นแบบทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษสมิทธิภาพ (Proficiency) ที่ใช้อย่างแพร่หลายในวงการธุรกิจทั้งภาครัฐบาลและเอกชน แบบทดสอบ TOEIC จัดทำขึ้นโดย Educational Testing Service (ETS) เป็นการสอบวัดระดับความรู้ภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับผู้ต้องการสมัครทำงาน ด้วยข้อสอบมาตรฐานระดับสากลในการวัดทักษะภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับธุรกิจ

สำหรับในประเทศไทยนั้น มีหลายหน่วยงานและสถาบันต่างๆ ที่ต้องการผล TOEIC เช่น ธุรกิจการบิน การโรงแรม การท่องเที่ยว การขนส่ง สถาบันการเงิน ปิโตรเคมี ยานยนต์ โรงพยาบาล หน่วยงานของเอกชน หน่วยงานของรัฐบาล รวมทั้งบริษัทข้ามชาติอื่นๆ ที่ต้องการนำผลคะแนนสอบของผู้สมัครงาน โดยองค์กรจะนำไปใช้ในด้านต่างๆ เช่น สำหรับพิจารณาทักษะทางภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อแนบเป็นเอกสารเพิ่มเติมในการสมัครเข้าเรียน การรับสมัครเข้าทำงาน การปรับเงินเดือน การขอเลื่อนตำแหน่งที่สูงขึ้น ปัจจุบัน TOEIC มีการสอบ 2 รูปแบบคือ

1. TOEIC Listening and Reading Test (การฟังและการอ่าน) และ
2. TOEIC Speaking and Writing Tests (การพูดและการฟัง) ซึ่งเป็นรูปแบบใหม่

โดยในประเทศไทย มีการสอบเฉพาะแบบ TOEIC Listening and Reading Test (การฟังและการอ่าน) ซึ่งเป็นแบบทดสอบซึ่งสามารถวัดทักษะความสามารถในการนำภาษาอังกฤษมาใช้งานได้จริง ทั้งด้านการฟังและการอ่านคะแนนของ TOEIC ซึ่งแต่ละคะแนนจะขึ้นอยู่กับความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาของผู้สอบ

รูปแบบการสอบ TOEIC (Listening and Reading Test)
ปัจจุบันการสอบ TOEIC ใช้รูปแบบที่เรียกว่า Redesigned TOEIC แบ่งการสอบเป็น 2 ส่วนคือ การฟัง (Listening) และ การอ่าน (Reading) โดยเป็นแบบเลือกตอบ (Multiple Choice) จำนวน 200 ข้อ ใช้ระยะเวลาในการทำข้อสอบคือ 2 ชั่วโมง โดยคะแนน TOEIC เริ่มจาก 10 คะแนนถึง 990 คะแนน ดังรายละเอียดต่อไปนี้

1. การฟัง (Listening Comprehension) มี 100 ข้อ ระดับคะแนนตั้งแต่ 5 - 495 คะแนน ใช้ระยะเวลาในการสอบฟัง 45 นาที
2. การอ่าน (Reading Comprehension) มี 100 ข้อ ระดับคะแนนตั้งแต่ 5 - 495 คะแนน ใช้ระยะเวลาในการสอบอ่าน เวลา 75 นาที

โดยการสอบวัดความสามารถทางด้านภาษาอังกฤษ (TOEIC) คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น แบ่งการสอบเป็น 2 ส่วนคือ การฟัง (Listening) และ การอ่าน (Reading)

ผลสอบ TOEIC
ผลสอบ TOEIC สามารถใช้ได้ 2 ปี นับจากวันสอบหลักฐานที่จะต้องนำไปแสดงในวันสอบ บัตรประชาชนตัวจริง หรือ passport ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ

หลักฐานที่ผู้สอบต้องนำมาแสดงในวันสอบ
1. บัตรนักศึกษา (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)
2. บัตรประชาชน หรือใบขับขี่อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ตัวจริง หรือ Passport (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)
3. บัตรข้าราชการ/บัตรพนักงาน หรือหนังสือรับรองจากหน่วยงานที่ท่านสังกัด (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)
4. ใบเสร็จชำระเงิน

หลักฐานที่ต้องนำมาแสดงในวันรับผลสอบ
- บัตรประชาชนตัวจริง หรือ passport ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ
- ใบเสร็จชำระเงิน

หมายเหตุ : ผู้ที่ต้องการสมัครสอบ TOEIC ที่สำนักงานใหญ่กรุงเทพมหานคร Center for Professional Assessment (Thailand) ผู้สอบสามรถติดต่อสำรองที่นั่งสอบล่วงหน้า 1 วันก่อนวันสอบได้ทุกวันจันทร์ – เสาร์ ระหว่างเวลา 08:00 - 16:30 น. (เว้นเฉพาะวันอาทิตย์กับวันนักขัตฤกษ์เท่านั้น) สามารถสอบถามข้อมูลได้ที่ 0-2260-7061

ระเบียบการสมัครสอบวัดความรู้ทางด้านภาษาอังกฤษ (TOEIC)

1. รายละเอียด การสอบวัดความรู้ทางด้านภาษาอังกฤษ TOEIC

อัตราค่าสมัคร : 1. นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ค่าสมัคร 1,700 บาท

2. บุคลากรมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ค่าสมัคร 1,700 บาท

3. พนักงานธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ค่าสมัคร 1,700 บาท

4. บุคคลทั่วไป ค่าสมัคร 2,300 บาท (ผู้สอบประเภทบุคคลทั่วไปเท่านั้น จะได้ถ่ายรูปติดใบคะแนนสอบ)

** การนำผลคะแนนสอบไปใช้ยื่นเป็นหลักฐาน ให้ผู้สอบเลือกประเภทการสมัครให้ถูกต้องว่านำคะแนนสอบไปใช้ยื่นเป็นหลักฐานกับองค์กร หรือหน่วยงานใด เนื่องจากบางองค์กรต้องการหลักฐานผลคะแนนสอบประเภท Personal เท่านั้น

หมายเหตุ : 1. หลักฐานการชำระเงินทางธนาคารให้ถือเป็นใบเสร็จฉบับสมบูรณ์

2. โปรดเก็บเอกสารนี้ไว้เป็นหลักฐานการชำระเงิน และใช้ยืนยันการเข้าสอบ

3. กรณีผู้สมัครสอบขาดสอบจะถือว่าท่านสละสิทธิ์ในการเข้าสอบ โดยค่าธรรมเนียมดังกล่าวจะไม่จ่ายคืนไม่ว่ากรณีใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น

***ผู้สมัครต้องพิมพ์ใบชำระเงินค่าธรรมเนียมการสมัครสอบไปชำระเงินค่าสมัครที่ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ทุกสาขา

ผู้สมัครสอบที่สามารถชำระเงินผ่านธนาคารด้วยตัวเอง สามารถชำระเงินผ่านธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ จำกัด (มหาชน)

*ในกรณีที่ผู้สมัครสอบ ไม่ชำระเงินตามระยะวันเวลารับสมัครสอบและชำระเงินค่าสอบตามที่กำหนด จะถือว่าสละสิทธิ์ในการสำรองที่นั่งสอบ

** และ (หากครบจำนวน 60 คน ก่อนวันที่หมดเขตรับสมัครจะปิดรับสมัครทันที)

ในกรณีจำนวนผู้สมัครรวมแล้วไม่ถึง 50 คน ทางคณะฯ ขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการยกเลิกการสอบ TOEIC

2. วันเวลาและสถานที่สอบ :

- ลงทะเบียนและตรวจหลักฐานก่อนเข้าสอบ

เวลา 08.30 - 09.00 น. (รอบเช้า)

เวลา 12.30 - 13.00 น. (รอบบ่าย) กรณีเปิด 2 สอบ

(ต้องเซ็นชื่อและตรวจหลักฐานก่อนเข้าห้องสอบ)

หมายเหตุ “ผู้สมัครสอบในนามบุคคลทั่วไปให้มารายงานตัวที่ห้องสอบก่อนเวลา 08.15 น. (รอบเช้า)

รายงานตัวที่ห้องสอบก่อนเวลา 12.15 น. (รอบบ่าย) กรณีเปิด 2 สอบ

เนื่องจากผู้เข้าสอบจะต้องถ่ายรูปติดใบแสดงผลคะแนนสอบ”

- เริ่มสอบ เวลา 09.30 - 12.30-น. (รอบเช้า)

2. บัตรประจำตัวประชาชน (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)

3. ใบเสร็จชำระเงินจากธนาคาร

2. ประเภทพนักงานมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ผู้สอบใช้สิทธิ์บุคลากรสังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

ผู้สอบต้องเตรียมหลักฐานมาทุกอย่าง ดังนี้

1. บัตรข้าราชการ/บัตรพนักงาน หรือหนังสือรับรองจากหน่วยงานที่ท่านสังกัด (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)

2. บัตรประจำตัวประชาชน (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)

3. ใบเสร็จชำระเงินจากธนาคาร

3. ประเภทพนักงานธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ผู้สอบใช้สิทธิ์พนักงานธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย

ผู้สอบต้องเตรียมหลักฐานมาทุกอย่าง ดังนี้

2. บัตรประจำตัวประชาชน (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)

3. ใบเสร็จชำระเงินจากธนาคาร

4. ประเภทบุคคลทั่วไป (ผู้สอบประเภทบุคคลทั่วไปเท่านั้น จะได้ถ่ายรูปติดใบคะแนนสอบ)

ผู้สอบต้องเตรียมหลักฐานมาทุกอย่าง ดังนี้

1. บัตรประจำตัวประชาชน หรือใบขับขี่ หรือ Passport (ตัวจริงที่ยังไม่หมดอายุ และรูปหน้าชัดเจน)

2. ใบเสร็จชำระเงินจากธนาคาร

3. กรณีใช้บัตรส่วนลดอื่นๆ กรุณาแจ้งหมายเลขบัตรส่วนลดกับทางศูนย์สอบ TOEIC สำนักงานใหญ่ กรุงเทพมหานคร และแจ้งศูนย์จัดสอบย่อยมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น พร้อมนำบัตรส่วนลดมาในวันสอบด้วย มิฉะนั้นจะถือว่าสมัครสอบในประเภทบุคคลทั่วไป

**หมายเหตุ : “ผู้สมัครสอบในนามบุคคลทั่วไปให้มารายงานตัวที่ห้องสอบก่อนเวลา 08.15 น. (รอบเช้า)

ผู้เข้าสอบต้องนำเอกสารการเข้าห้องสอบมาให้ครบตามที่ระบุไว้เพื่อแสดงยืนยันก่อนเข้าห้องสอบ หากไม่นำเอกสารดังกล่าวมาในวันสอบ จะไม่อนุญาตให้เข้าห้องสอบและจะไม่มีการคืนเงินค่าสมัครใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น

สิ่งที่ไม่อนุญาตให้นำเข้าห้องสอบ

1. โทรศัพท์มือถือ

2. นาฬิกาข้อมือทุกชนิด

3. อุปกรณ์เครื่องเขียนต่างๆ (เนื่องจากได้จัดเตรียมอุปกรณ์เครื่องเขียนไว้ให้ในห้องสอบแล้ว)

4. พวงกุญแจ

***หมายเหตุ

1. กรณีจำนวนผู้สมัครรวมแล้วไม่ถึง 50 คน ทางคณะฯ ขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการยกเลิกการสอบ TOEIC โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องแจ้งให้ทราบล่วงหน้า และขอให้ผู้สมัครสอบต้องมาติดต่อขอรับเงินค่าสมัครสอบคืนได้ที่ ศูนย์เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาษาอังกฤษ HS.02 ชั้น 1 คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ภายในระยะเวลาที่ทางคณะฯ กำหนด ในวัน - เวลาราชการ โปรดนำหลักฐานการชำระเงินพร้อมบัตรประจำตัวประชาชนมาเพื่อติดต่อขอรับเงินค่าสมัครสอบคืน

4. การรับผลคะแนนสอบ ::

- กรณีมารับด้วยตนเอง ติดต่อรับคะแนนหลังจากสอบเสร็จ 1 สัปดาห์ กรุณาแสดงบัตรประจำตัวประชาชน ติดต่อรับในวันและเวลาราชการ (จันทร์ - ศุกร์ เวลา 08.30 – 16.30 น.)

สถานที่รับผลคะแนนสอบ :: ติดต่อที่ศูนย์เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้น 1 อาคาร HS.02 คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

- กรณีส่งผลสอบทางไปรษณีย์ ต้องแจ้งและระบุให้เจ้าหน้าที่สอบ TOEIC ทราบในห้องสอบหลังสิ้นสุดการสอบ พร้อมเขียนชื่อ และที่อยู่ บนหน้าซองจดหมาย (ชำระเงินค่าดำเนินการส่งทางไปรษณีย์ 50 บาท หลังสอบเสร็จ)

Welcome to the English language proficiency exam application system (TOEIC)

Details about TOEIC

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is the English proficiency test widely used in business, government, and private sectors. It is prepared by Educational Testing Service (ETS) which the aim of the test is to measure an English proficiency for applicants who apply for a job with an international standard test to measure business English skills

In Thailand, TOEIC result is widely required by many organizations and centers e.g., airline business, transportation, financial institution, petrochemical, automobile, hospital, private organization, government organization, and multinational corporation which requires the test result from job applicants for various reasons e.g., for considering the English language skills as an additional document when applying for admission, job application, salary raise, and asking for promotion to higher positions. TOEIC currently has 2 forms of exams:

1. TOEIC Listening and Reading Test

2. TOEIC Speaking and Writing Tests (The new one)

Only the TOEIC Listening and Reading Test is available in Thailand, which is the test that can measure your ability to use English in real life both listening and reading. TOEIC score is based on the test taker's language proficiency.

TOEIC formats (Listening and Reading Test)

The format currently used for TOEIC is Redesigned TOEIC, divided into 2 parts: Listening and Reading which are a multiple choice of 200 questions taking 2 hours to finish. TOEIC scores start from 10 points to 990 points as follows:

1. 100 questions of Listening Comprehension which the scores start from 5 - 495 points taking 45 minutes to finish.

2. 100 question of Reading Comprehension which the scores start from 5 - 495 points taking 75 minutes to finish.

The English proficiency test (TOEIC) of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University has 2 parts: Listening and Reading.

TOEIC RESULTS

TOEIC results are valid for 2 years from the test date. Proof must be presented on the test day: original ID card or passport that is not expired.

Required evidences on the test day

1. Student ID card (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

2. ID card or original digital driver’s license (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

3. Civil servant card/employee card or letter of recommendation from the organization you belong to. (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

4. Receipt of test fee

Required evidences on the test day

- Original ID card or original passport which is not expired.

- Receipt of test fee

Note: The tester who wants to apply for TOEIC at Bangkok Headquarters Center for Professional Assessment (Thailand) is able to make a seat reservation 1 day in advance every Monday - Saturday between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. English Language Proficiency Test (TOEIC) Application Procedures

1. Details about English Language Proficiency Test (TOEIC)

TOEIC fee: 1. For Khon Kaen university students costing 1700 baht

2. For Khon Kaen university personnel cost 1700 baht

3. Bank of Thailand staffs cost 1700 baht

4. General people cost 2300 baht (Only the applicant in this type would have a photo with the test score certificate.)

** Bringing test scores to be submitted as evidence The test takers are required to choose the correct type of application that they will use the test scores to submit to the organization or any agency because some organizations only need personal scores.

Note: 1. Proof of payment by the bank should be a complete receipt.

2. Please keep this document as proof of payment and to be used to confirm admission

3. Absent test takers mean waiving their rights and no refund on test fee under any circumstances.

***The test takers must print the payment slip of application fee to pay at any branches of Siam Commercial Bank (Only within prescribed time).

The test takers can pay the application fee by their own via Siam Commercial Bank

(Applying for the English proficiency exam)

**In case of no payment on the prescribed time, the test takers will waive their right on making a seat reservation.

**And in the event that the number of 60 test takers is reached before the deadline, applications will be closed immediately.

In the event that the total number of applicants is less than 50, the faculty will reserve the right to cancel the TOEIC test.

2. Date, Time and Place of the test:

- Register and check proof before taking an exam

Time 08.30 - 09.00 (Morning round)

Time 12.30 - 13.00 (Afternoon round) In case of 2 rounds of the exam

(Must sign and check evidence before entering the exam room)

Note: The test takers who are general people are required to report to the examination room before 08.15 am (morning round).

Report to the exam room before 12:15 p.m. (afternoon round) in case of opening 2 rounds because the test takers must take a picture for the score certificate.

- The exam starts at 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (morning)

at 13.30 PM - 16.30 PM (afternoon round) in case of opening 2 exams

At Smart learning room, 4th floor, Rattanapittaya Building of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University

Note: 1. Afternoon exams will only be opened in the event that the morning session is full.

2. Examination dates and test locations are subject to change, please check the exam information for each test month.

3. Documents to bring on the test day must be the original document that has not expired to be used to show confirmation before entering the examination room

1. Student type Applicants must be students of Khon Kaen University.

Bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree (refer to the expiration date of the student card)

The test takers must prepare all the following evidences:

1. Student card (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

2. Identification card (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

3. Payment receipt from the bank.

2. Employees of Khon Kaen University type The test takers will use the right of personnel under Khon Kaen University.

The test takers must prepare all the following evidences:

1. Civil servant card /employee card or a letter of recommendation from the organization that you belong to. (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

2. Identification card (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

3. Payment receipt from the bank.

3. Bank of Thailand staff type The test taker will use the right of Bank of Thailand staff.

The test takers must prepare all the following evidences:

1. Civil servant card /employee card or a letter of recommendation from the organization that you belong to. (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

2. Identification card (Must be original, not expired, and has clear face picture)

3. Payment receipt from the bank.

4. General people type (Only the applicant in this type would have a photo with the test score certificate.)

In case of using other discount cards, please inform the discount card number to the TOEIC Bangkok Headquarters Center (Thailand), and inform the Center for Sub-Examination Center of Khon Kaen University along with bringing a discount card on the exam day as well. Otherwise, it will be considered that applying for the examination in the public people type.
